The Town
In this work he provided me, and hopefully many viewers, with a great heist themed movie combining new and old elements to perfection. He showed us brightly good and bad, right and wrong, foundations and what's built on them supplied by a bold script and strengthened by the powerful performances by the whole cast.
I consider this work is the best action thriller ever made, right after "Heat".
I consider myself a loyal fan now to Director Ben Affleck, and I can't wait for his next project.
Inception
Director Christopher Nolan is a magician. A real one. Imagination is his source of magic. In this particular work he molded many ingredients in his cauldron. International talent (casting agent, stand up please) + all that is interesting about the theories of "dreams" + complicated plot that magnifies and intensifies these "dreams" + The visual effects that match with such imagination and plot.
The result, or should I dare and say, the "reality", of this combination is a smashing piece of modern cinema. A "reason" for any of us to go to the theater and enjoy the magic of movies.
Harry Brown
An excellent thriller supported by a raw talented director, and pulled all together by Mr. Michael Caine. The Western style that defines the end gracefully covers up the far fetched bits there. Interesting from beginning to end, no rush, retaking the viewer to a cool experience of film watching.
District 9
Fresh, sharp and bold. Doing it without big Hollywood names added better entertainment value to the movie.

Breaker Morant
A brilliant movie with balanced issues of morals, politics and what's right or wrong during the time of war. Solid gold performances from the whole cast, and an ending that would echo forever in your memory.
Find Me Guilty
A triumphant performance from Mr. Diesel. He was the backbone of a not-very-interesting story. His talent withdrew my full attention through the whole movie, prving that there is much MUCH to offer from this particular actor beside fast cars and explosions.
Enemy at the Gates
A very interesting movie that takes us to a new dimension of WWII. Good performances from the whole cast with except a great one from Ed Harris. The cat and mouse game that two opposing snipers play within the horrific Stalingrad's atmosphere is very well studied and perfectly executed. The far lengths that the two rivals go to, and their obsession to hunt each other do are the most interesting thing within the screen play.
An Everlasting Piece
A comedy that is true, full of unexpected surprises and turns leaving the viewer with a delightful feeling long after watching it.
